1. Who We Are
Home Secure Connect is an independent home services advisor. We help American homeowners compare and select home security and home internet services across our vetted provider network. We are not a security company, internet provider, or telecommunications carrier. When you contact us, we collect information about your needs, qualify your situation, and connect you with one or more providers in our network who can serve your address.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Give Us Directly
When you contact us through our website, by phone, or by email, we may collect:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your home address or ZIP code (used to confirm provider availability)
- The service you are interested in (home security, home internet, or related)
- Information about your home or household that you choose to share
- Any messages or questions you submit through our contact form or email
- Recordings and transcripts of phone calls, SMS text messages, chat sessions, and emails between you and us, where permitted by applicable law
- Your consent selections, including whether you affirmatively opted in to receive text messages, together with the date, time, IP address, and web page on which that consent was given
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- Your IP address and approximate location (city or region, derived from your IP)
- Browser type, operating system, and device information
- Pages you view, time spent, and links clicked
- The website that referred you to us
- Cookie identifiers and similar tracking-technology data (see Section 7)
2.3 Information From Third Parties
We may receive information about you from:
- Lead-generation partners who refer prospective customers to us, when you have consented to be contacted by us through their forms or platforms
- Providers in our network, including confirmation of whether service is active
- Public sources, used to verify business contact information
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiry, provide consultations, and answer your questions
- Qualify your interest by checking provider availability at your address
- Refer your information to providers in our network so they can prepare a quote, schedule, or otherwise serve you
- Contact you by phone and email about your inquiry and referral
- Send you text messages about your inquiry, but only where you have separately and affirmatively opted in to our SMS program (see Section 8)
- Monitor and record communications. To monitor and record any communications we have with you, including phone conversations and SMS text messaging (in compliance with applicable laws), chat sessions, and emails to ensure we’re providing you with quality service and meeting our legal responsibilities.
- Operate, maintain, and improve our website and services
- Legal, security, or safety reasons. Such as protecting our and our users’ safety, property, or rights, complying with legal requirements, enforcing our terms, conditions, and policies, detecting, preventing, and responding to security incidents, and protecting against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity.
- As part of a corporate transaction. Such as in connection with the sale of part or all of our assets or business, the acquisition of part or all of another business or another business’ assets, or another corporate transaction, including bankruptcy.
- For marketing. Such as sending information on our products and services or those of our affiliates, business partners, or other third parties. This may include using your information to send you in-app messages and notices, email, newsletters, surveys, promotions, or news about events.
- Aggregate and anonymize data for analytics, reporting, and business planning
Text messaging is excluded from the marketing purpose described above. We send text messages only about your own inquiry and only where you have separately opted in under Section 8. We do not send text messages promoting the products or services of affiliates, business partners, or other third parties, and we do not use your mobile number for third-party marketing of any kind.
4. How We Share Your Information
- Vetted providers in our network — when we refer you for a quote, installation, or service. Referrals to network providers include your name, service address, email address, and phone number for the purpose of contacting you by telephone and delivering service. Text messaging opt-in data and SMS consent are never included in provider referrals. The provider becomes a separate data controller and handles your information under their own privacy policy.
- Service providers — companies that help us run our business, including hosting providers, CRM platforms, email and SMS service providers, analytics platforms, and call-tracking systems. These vendors act as our subcontractors in support services, are contractually bound to protect your information, and may use it only to provide services to us.
- Advertising partners — third-party advertising platforms including Google and Meta (Facebook) may receive certain information through cookies and pixels placed on our website for the purpose of delivering relevant advertisements and measuring ad performance. This may constitute “sharing” of personal information under certain state privacy laws. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent data are excluded from all advertising partner sharing. See Section 9 for your opt-out rights.
- Legal authorities — if required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights or the rights of others.
- Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your consent — at your direction or with your explicit consent.
We do not sell your personal information for monetary compensation. However, sharing information with advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Meta (Facebook) for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered “sharing” personal information under California’s CCPA/CPRA and similar state laws. You have the right to opt out of this sharing. To opt out, submit a request on our privacy requests website, email us at support@homesecureconnect.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share”, or call us at (855) 248-8052. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent data are never included in this sharing.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and for legitimate business purposes thereafter:
- Active customer/lead records: for as long as you remain a customer or active prospect, plus a reasonable period after
- Closed or inactive leads: typically retained for 3 years to support follow-up and business analytics
- Financial and transactional records: at least 7 years to comply with U.S. tax and accounting requirements
- SMS consent records: retained for at least 5 years after consent is withdrawn, as required to evidence compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act
- Marketing opt-out and STOP lists: retained indefinitely to honor your opt-out preference
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (SSL/TLS), access controls, and regular review of our security practices.
No system can be guaranteed 100% secure. You should always take care when sharing personal information online.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to operate our website, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and deliver advertising.
Types of Tracking Technologies We Use
- Cookies — small files placed on your device that allow us to recognize you on return visits, save preferences, and understand site usage.
- Pixels and web beacons — invisible code embedded in pages or emails that helps us understand how you interact with our content and ads. We use pixels from Google Ads and Meta (Facebook) for advertising and conversion tracking purposes.
- Analytics tools — we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. To learn more, visit Google’s Privacy & Terms at policies.google.com.
- Advertising and retargeting — we work with advertising networks, including Google and Meta, to deliver interest-based advertising. If you view a page on our website, we may use that activity to show you an advertisement on other websites or platforms you visit.
Types of Cookies We Use
- Strictly necessary cookies: required for the website to function
- Performance and analytics cookies: help us understand site usage and improve it
- Functional cookies: remember your choices so you do not have to re-enter them
- Advertising and targeting cookies: used to deliver relevant advertising and measure ad performance
Your Cookie Choices
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising by visiting optout.aboutads.info or youradchoices.com. Note that disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
8. Your Communication Choices
8.1 Marketing Emails
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. We honor unsubscribe requests promptly. We may still send transactional emails (for example, responses to your inquiry or referral status updates) even after you unsubscribe from marketing.
8.2 Phone Calls and Text Messages — TCPA Consent Notice
By checking the SMS consent box on our website forms and submitting your mobile phone number, you provide express written consent to receive text messages from Home Secure Connect LLC at the number you provide, including messages sent using automated technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving a quote. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Separately, by submitting an inquiry to us you consent to receive telephone calls from Home Secure Connect and from providers in our vetted network regarding your request. This telephone consent is distinct from SMS consent. Your SMS consent is never shared with network providers, and network providers do not send text messages on the basis of consent you gave to us.
To opt out of text messages at any time, reply STOP to any message we send; you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages. For assistance, reply HELP, email support@homesecureconnect.com, or call (855) 248-8052. To opt out of phone calls, inform the advisor during the call or contact us at support@homesecureconnect.com.
Note: If you arrived at our website through a third-party lead-generation partner, your consent to receive telephone calls was obtained at the point of that original form submission. Text message consent is never inherited from a third-party form; we enroll a number in our SMS program only where the consent box was checked on a Home Secure Connect web form.
8.3 SMS / Mobile Information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Home Secure Connect LLC sends text messages only to individuals who have provided express written consent by checking the SMS consent box on a Home Secure Connect website form. Messages relate to quote requests, availability confirmations, appointment scheduling, and related service updates.
- Message frequency: message frequency varies based on your inquiry and stage of service.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply. Home Secure Connect does not charge for messages; your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply.
- Opt-out: reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one final confirmation message, after which no further messages will be sent.
- Help: reply HELP for assistance, email support@homesecureconnect.com, or call (855) 248-8052 (Mon–Fri, 10am–8pm ET).
- Carriers: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

- Right to opt out of sale or sharing: opt out of the sharing of your information for advertising purposes

We may decline to process requests that are frivolous or unreasonably repetitive or burdensome, impact the rights or privacy of others, or are extremely impractical.
We may verify your identity before fulfilling your request and will respond within 45 days (with a possible extension as permitted by law). You may also write to us at the address in Section 12.
